Anoosh is a true inspiration for me when it comes to self-branding and moving towards a freedom of fashion sense that is not considered as the norm but still so catchy to leave the crowd wow’ing! His designs are not for the politically correct critics. You definitely need an open mind and a personality for it!

I first met Anoosh in 2010 at an invite only fashion showcase by Christoforos Kotentos at the elegant Molton House organised by The Button Club, who are one of my clients now.

What intrigued me to approach him was not only his extremely suave and edgy outfit with a custom designed shirt collar, but also his presence and personality, that had everyone whispering ‘That’s Anoosh over there’! Since I was networking my way into the fashion world at that time, I had to know this man!

He turned out to be an easy going gentleman, connecting with me and instantly recognising our common Persian roots. I had to research his intense fashion taste and most important of all, getting him to dress me up became a goal!

Anoosh is a fashion stylist and designer like no others, not only does he derive his original fashion concepts from scratch, but also brings his concepts into reality by designing everything himself, and working with the best photographers, makeup artists, hairstylists and models.

For all the events I have managed or organised in 2011, Anoosh has been exclusively dressing me up for it! Below are some of the highlights from 2011 that have pushed my personal branding beyond explanation. I became ‘The Adam Danyal’ known for my style thanks to Anoosh!

Rockstars – The Button Club New Years Eve 2010

Rockstars was a demanding themed event. I had to stand out from the crowd, and Anoosh didn’t fail to impress on his first outfit for me! Custom-made crystallized Rolling Stones t-shirt with a matching belt, leather jacket and trousers with pin decorations around it.

London Fashion Week Networking by London Fashion Models- January 2011

My first fashion networking party for London Fashion Week A/W 2011 at Cafe De Paris was made even more special by a custom crafted long red jacket by Anoosh with insanely long sleeves that I just loved! I still have memories of the street crowd following me walking to the venue. The private guest list of 300 people included trendsetters from the fashion world including finalists of Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model.

The Button Club’s Launch of London Fashion Week at The Hospital Club – February 2011

Math Collective and Trousers London presented by The Button Club. My outfit was simply glowing! Anoosh had surrounded illuminated material around the edges and the pockets which had famous figures such as Che Guevara, Ghandi and Jimi Hendrix printed onto them. Superstar Magazine also caught up with the Ex-Supermodel and America’s Next Top Model judge, Janice Dickinson at the fashion show!

The Button Club’s London Fashion Week Closing Show at Amika London – February 2011

A London Fashion Week Closing Show at Amika London for Enzoani Couture, Terence Trout and Amour Fou presented by The Button Club. My outfit was a Spring and Summer style suit by Anoosh. Superstar Magazine also caught up with Alex Reid at the fashion show!

London Fashion Week Networking by London Fashion Models- September 2011

The second fashion networking party I organised in 2011, and the outfit had to be outstanding, especially since I had invited all the current finalists of Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model, including the official designer Joey Bevan. Anoosh concept didn’t fail to impress again.

The outfit was tremendous, with gold and black as well as matching glasses! This has been one of my favourite Anoosh outfits.

The BloodLust Ball 2011 by The Button Club – October 2011

The BloodLust Ball is Europe’s largest and well-known Halloween parties attended by an array of celebrities often disguised in Halloween outfits! Superstar Magazine was an official media partner as well ticket promotion agent. Anoosh dressed me into a modern day illuminate monk to attend and rescue the blood thirsty sinners! Accompanied by glasses that light up with flashes, I was the hotspot for photographers!

DSTRKT London Launch Press Night

London’s most anticipated £25 million restaurant and club, DSTRKT London, opened its doors to a private guestlist of media and press on 15th December 2011. Anoosh designed an elegant jacket for me with feathers on the left shoulder, accompanied by a John Galliano t-shirt, casual jeans and some funky shoes. This has been by far the weirdest outfit I have been proud to wear!

London Fashion Models Christmas Networking & Fashion Party – December 2011

The London Fashion Models Networking Events are London’s most fabulous fashion networking soirees combining fashion with pleasure, in style! After two successful London Fashion Week Networking Events in 2011 (January | September), the London Fashion Models Christmas Networking & Fashion Party was a wrap-up event for the year, held exclusively in the VIP Lounge of Amika London.

Anoosh supplied the final outfit for 2011 and it did fit perfectly with the Enchanted Forest theme of the party with trees and leaves everywhere.

I am excited and look forward to wearing more of Anoosh’s amazing outfit in 2012 for the events. It’s guaranteed to be a hit every time.

Email is supposed to be dead. These days it’s all about social networking, mobile marketing, and the latest and greatest hot new platform.

But here’s the thing. If you want to get your readers to take action (whether that’s buying a product or service, thinking in a new way, or changing a behavior), email is still the proven best way to make that happen.

In test after test, email comes out on top for influencing reader behaviour. Ahead of social media, ahead of blogs.

There are a couple of reasons for that:

1. Email is intimate

Instead of being on a public (or semi-public) platform like Twitter or Facebook, email is by its nature private.

We’re used to getting messages from friends and colleagues via email. When used correctly, email can develop a relationship with your reader that feels more personal than a blog or even a social network.

When you craft your email correctly, email readers feel like they know you.

2. Email feels urgent

When we get in a hurry, we know we can let those Twitter and Facebook messages pass us by.

But it’s hard to ignore our email box. We try to at least glance at everything in there before we can feel we’ve “taken care of business.”

Email is great for time-sensitive messages, like a reminder to vote in a local election, or a notice about an expiring promotion.

3. Email is (increasingly) mobile

More and more people are adding email accounts to their smart phones.

With that change, email marketing became a critical component of mobile marketing. It follows your reader wherever her phone does, and it keeps pace with how she’s living her life.

4. Relatively few people are using email well

Yes, there’s lots of email marketing out there.

Most of it is pretty lame.

(And I’m not even counting the spammers. Most legitimate marketers out there look like spam, and that’s as bad as actually being spam.)

• Smart email persuasion takes advantage of tools that can build reader trust over time.
• Smart email persuasion educates and informs.
• Smart email persuasion builds a relationship with the audience before you ever try to “make a sale” or ask for anything from your reader.

Yes, there’s a lot of email in your readers’ in-boxes. But most of it doesn’t build reader trust with great content. You can make yourself — and your project — stand out with a commitment to quality.

5. In the end, it doesn’t matter why

Maybe there’s some mysterious reason email works that none of us knows about.

That’s ok. Because the fact is, it’s been proven again and again — when you want to persuade an audience (to buy, to vote, to go green, or whatever your own goals may be), email works better than social channels and it works better than posts on your web site or blog.

So how do you build an email list?

Before you can harness the power of email, you’ve got to get those names.

The London Fashion Models Christmas Networking and Fashion Party is on 22nd December 2011 Exclusively in the VIP Lounge of Amika London, the winners of the London Club & Bar Awards ‘Best Club Nights 2011′.

The Christmas Fashion Networking and Fashion Party will be held on 22nd December 2011 starting at 7:00pm till 3am at the celebrity and fashion hotspot, Amika London through the red carpet entrance with a gold wristband into the VIP Lounge (and not the main club).

London Fashion Models has hired the Amika London VIP Lounge EXCLUSIVELY between 7:00PM – 11PM for the Christmas Networking.

After 11pm you may wish to remain at the fashion party in the VIP Room till 3am or join the main club hosting an International beauty pageant.

It is exciting time of the year, we have achieved so much at Superstar Magazine in the past year on all fronts including passing over 16,000 fans on the Facebook page, interviewing A-List celebrities and celebrating our first birthday at Amika London like Superstars!

London Fashion Models

London Fashion Models passed over 21,000 fans on the Facebook page and is officially the largest community in the UK for models, photographers, make-up artists, hairstylist, designers and stylists!
